If a Citizen Soldier were to spot suspicious activity, then what should they do?
Call the police or the FBI. America is a country of privacy but do what your gut instinct tells you. I found an acronym on line – SALUTE - which I thought came from a police station in Pennsylvania.
Warning: If you see suspicious behavior, do not confront the individuals involved. Report details to Report to the Police thinking in an acronym I found somewhere on the Net but couldn’t find again to give proper attribution
S - Size (Jot down the number of people, gender, ages, and physical descriptions)
A - Activity (Describe exactly what they are doing)
L - Location (Provide exact location)
U - Uniform (Describe what they are wearing, including shoes)
T - Time (Provide date, time, and duration of activity)
E - Equipment (Describe vehicle, make, color etc., license plate, camera, guns, etc)
S-A-L-U-T-E!
