Less than one year ago, Modern Conservative was a small news and blogging site. Today, we have over a dozen people on staff and seven growing departments. We are developing a nationwide grassroots presence and national policy initiatives. We are on the move.
We have done all this with no funding and an all-volunteer staff. Though we working towards becoming fully-funded, we have no way to predict exactly when that will happen. In the meantime, our dedicated staff has no intention of stopping or slowing down while we wait for that funding. We've got a country to save.
That's how we roll, and we know you're the same. So, if you're ready to roll with a new kind of organization, we'd love to have you!

2009 — Spring, Summer, and Fall Semesters
Earn class credits while working on the cutting edge of new media!
Qualified students will enjoy an entirely new educational experience with an applied approach to the political process.
Modern Conservative is not like other political organizations that collect interns for the transference of coffee and paperwork. Interns will be doing interesting, rewarding work that produces measurable results. Some may even produce work that is online and credited to their authorship.
Interns will experience a flexible work environment. Most work can be completed from the comfort of home or anywhere with a strong/secure Internet connection.
The bulk of the work available involves academic research and writing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Trustworthiness, reliability, and self-starting are a must.
- Conservative politics are a definite plus.
- All of other qualifications and interest areas can/will be applied to the appropriate corresponding task.

Modern Conservative (including AnyStreet and our other divisions) is not a "beltway" organization. We are made up of everyday citizens from across the nation—people who want a better way for America. Our home office is not Washington, DC, and we don't have any big-name former politicians as figureheads to raise funds. And of course, as you well know, conservatism doesn't have a George Soros equivalent, personally bankrolling a dozen organizations.
This means that we need YOU.
We rely on small donors—average folks who aren't rich, but who care enough to shoulder a little of the burden. Put enough such committed Americans together, even just giving a small amount, and it really adds up.
